another lovely repeating pattern pic .. the dark green stands out well and combine that and rust an you have a good recipe for a pic.
might like to see it cropped closed to the birds perhaps ..

Back here after a long time, and I love this shot. Kinda makes me want to turn around to see what they are looking at :)
A little more detail of the birds themselves might be nice, as Vikas suggested.
I havent seen so many of them together before. There used to be quite a number of them at Hebbal lake, btw.

  3. Thanks Vikas, Vid! A closeup of a cormorant and some more birds coming up. I had seen pictures of pelicans sitting on the very same posts. But when i went, i found cormorants!

Vid, didn’t know there were a lot of these near Hebbal Lake…Next time I’m there, will look :)

  5. Thanks Sreekar. They were watching for other cormorants, and when the others flew by, they all took off, a couple of minutes later!

Lovely green shade on the birds. A little cropping would be nicer. There are not that many birds in Hebbal Lake nowadays. Too much of sewage & weeds in the water.

  7. Thanks Sumida. I struggled with the cropping bit, but then decided to leave the aspect ratio to 8×10 and then work around that. Too bad about Hebbal Lake..when will people wake up?
