Thanks Vikas and Sreekar for your comments.
Vikas, I have noted your comments. Will see what I can do to remove the haze. Come to think of it, panoramic aspect would have been just right...Oh well, next time.
Sreekar, I'll see what I can do to the sky :) No, this was not an HDR image. Just one normal exposure.

Nice shot!! A good one to stop driving.

I agree with you on the contrast of the two mountains. Was this a HDR image?

I felt that the clouds were a little too bright and drawing attention away from the details.

Like the clean brown range in the foreground .. and how the trees look like miniatures.
You usually have the sky and clouds well under control .. but they feel blown out here ..
and your aversion to using a polariser :D
else u might have had really blue skies and puffy clouds.

There seems to be slightly blue haze in the background range.
I think I understand what you were trying to capture .. but that might hav req a bit more panoramic composition ( and I know you like this aspect ratio, but .. ) this is a little too squarish I feel?

Looking forward to reg updates and all the pics you have been taking.
