Everglades National Park, Florida

I got the opportunity to visit Everglades National Park and its next door neighbour, Big Cypress National park back in October. It was a day of lovely clouds. – big huge white puffy ships and dragons in the sky. I used my G9 with the Hoya R72 filter for this Infrared photograph, and processed it in Lightroom.

Technical Details:

ISO: 100

  2. Great picture – how come you are using your G9 instead of the SLR? (It's a great camera, but still curious)

  4. It's a weird story. My Hoya filter is 52mm. I bought it long ago for my first Sigma lens which I sold. Now I don't have any lens which fits the filter. So when I bought a G9, I also bought the lensmate adapter with a filter ring, and can now use my Hoya. I've contemplated buying a bigger Hoya filter but decided against that. And yeah, I like the G9 quite a bit.
