It's a weird story. My Hoya filter is 52mm. I bought it long ago for my first Sigma lens which I sold. Now I don't have any lens which fits the filter. So when I bought a G9, I also bought the lensmate adapter with a filter ring, and can now use my Hoya. I've contemplated buying a bigger Hoya filter but decided against that. And yeah, I like the G9 quite a bit.

Great picture - how come you are using your G9 instead of the SLR? (It's a great camera, but still curious)
