Red Moon, My office in Santa Clara, CA.</p>
<p>As soon as I got my &#8220;Digital Holga&#8221; bodycap lens from <a href="http://www.holgamods.com">www.holgamods.com</a>, I started playing with it. One afternoon, at work, I got this itch to photograph &#8211; I had to photograph something right away. Luckily, I had my old Canon rebel XT with the DigiHolga on it. The sunlight coming down the skylight on the red wall near my lab, the plexiglass staircase with the steel railing, the lights, all reminded me of a setting in some futuristic fantasy novel &#8211; while moving me to take this photograph. </p>

<p>I attended <a href="http://www.theflashbus.com">The Flash Bus Tour</a> with David &#8220;The Strobist&#8221; and Joe &#8220;Numnuts&#8221; McNally in San Jose on March 14. Apart from learning tons about artificial lighting, David mentioned how he plays with his &#8220;Digital Holga&#8221; just for inspiration. I came home and that very day, ordered the digital Holga lens from <a href="http://www.holgamods.com">www.holgamods.com</a>.</p>
<p>Once I received the lens, I was playing with it for a while. This is the first photograph I liked from this fun lens.

<p>This photograph was taken during the &#8220;Utah&#8217;s Golden Circle&#8221; workshop/field seminar with <a href="http://www.richardknepp.com/">Rick Knepp</a> during October 2010. We were out making photographs at sunrise at Bryce Canyon on the morning of October 18th. When we reached the Sunrise vista point, we were greeted by the amphitheater in fog. As the sun rose, the fog started disspiating among the hoodoos. The fog sometimes rose and fell and swirled around &#8211; like one last game before it had to go.

This very nice hotel is located very close to the Paseo De Montejo and a slightly long walk from Centro.</p>

I shot this image in RAW mode and used <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018VH8S2?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=httpwwwsuprad-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0018VH8S2">Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.7</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=httpwwwsuprad-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B0018VH8S2" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> for my post-processing. After importing the photos into Lightroom and keywording them. I played around with the clarity, vibrance, exposure and curves settings for this photograph.

<p>This is a photograph of the gorgeous pool at the <a href="http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/intercontinental/en/gb/locations/midha?cm_mmc=mdpr-_-googlemaps-_-ic-_-midha">Presidente Intercontinental</a> hotel in Merida when we were there in December. Located very close to the Paseo De Montejo and close to Centro, this hotel was quite nice.</p>

I shot this image in RAW mode and used <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018VH8S2?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=httpwwwsuprad-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0018VH8S2">Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.7</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=httpwwwsuprad-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B0018VH8S2" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> for my post-processing. After importing the photos into Lightroom and keywording them. I played around with the clarity, vibrance, exposure and curves settings for this photograph.
