Sandstone Wall
Sandstone Wall, Jenny’s Canyon, Snow Canyon State Park,Utah.
In anybody is interested in learning more about this place, you can check http://www.utah.com/stateparks/snow_canyon.htm and http://www.americansouthwest.net/utah/snow_canyon/state_park.html. I would suggest at least 2 full days in this relatively small state park. Apart from the photos you see here of Jenny’s Canyon ( a slot canyon) , in the park you can also find sand dunes, lava beds, lava caves and spectacular cross bedding of stone. Its an amazing place and I hope to go back soon.

Kolob Canyon – Fingers
Fingers of Kolob, Kolob canyon, Zion National park, Utah.
Same as the previous post in the blog, only horizontal and in color. I am curious as to which version everyone prefers…the color or the black and white? I must say, I am very impressed with HDR, now that I have finally using this technique. However, I find it most difficult to compromise between extending the dynamic range and making the photo somewhat natural. After sharpening and saturation, another battle to tune my sensibilities…
