Joshua Trees at Red Rock SP

Joshua Trees at Red Rock State Park, California.
Earlier this year, in February, I decided to visit Death Valley with Sheila, hoping to meet up with Sreekar in DV, who was driving up from Arizona. Leaving after 8.00PM out of San Jose on a Friday evening, a long long drive took us to Red Rock State Park where we decided to crash for a couple of hours before continuing our drive. After a couple of hours of sleeping underneath the starry sky, daybreak woke me up. It was cold, much colder than expected! Shivering, we were packing and getting ready to leave, the aptly named Red Rock State Park glowed orange, and the morning rays hitting the Joshua trees made them glow even more.
When I was working with this photo, the raw file right out of the photo was almost blindingly orange that made me decide that a slight destauration was the way to go!
