Belly dancer in a restaurant in San Francisco. A packed place on Saturday night on Haight Street in SFO. I must say I like this restaurant quite a bit. They have very good food and their hot spiced wine is out of the world!

  1. Aah .. the 50 mm prime πŸ™‚
I rcently screwed it back on .. feel like using it more πŸ™‚
She doesnt look like a belly dancer πŸ˜€ .. and the instrument she has
strapped on to her fingers seems more like the stuff ppl use for bhajans and keertans :-))
Nice composition ..background clutter cannot be helped here ..
exposure is great .. skin textures are still visible ..considering it was indoors and the flash fired ..
what mode did you shoot this in?
    Manual or AV mode?
If possible .. you could perhaps darken the background a bit more .. might help reducing the distractions of the background ..
The expression captured is beatific πŸ™‚

  2. Like Vikas said- the expression on her face really makes this pic.
I find her off-focus right hand a little distracting, my eyes seem drawn to them.

I think the instrument she has strapped to her finger is a cymbal?
